LAURA DAY COMMITS TO GONZAGA
Laura Day, an outside hitter for the 18-1 team, committed to play at Gonzaga University this week. Laura will graduate from West High School this spring and will attend Gonzaga in the fall. We are proud of you Laura!

12-Gold Team Wins Mandatory #2!
Last weekend, the 12-Gold team finished 1st in their pool, getting the change to play in a division higher for the next tournament. Congrats girls!

17-1 Team Earns Junior Olympic Bid!
The 17-1 team, lead by coach Branden Higa, won the club division of the Southern California Junior Olympic Qualifier earning themselves a bid to the National Division of the Junior Olympics! The team consists of setter Rachel Schroff, outside hitters Alese Madenwald, Kerry Vanden Bos, and Lindsey Walsh, middle blockers Morgan Lee and Janelle Miller, opposite hitter Maya Jones, and defensive specialists Lauren Kim and Sarah Shepherd. The team played solid all weekend, only losing one match on day two of the tournament. Congrats to all the girls for a great tournament.
