TRYOUTS DATES FOR THE 2008/09 SEASON
All tryouts will be held at our facility, the Velodrome, located at the Home Depot Center in Carson. The only exception to this is the 12s and 14s tryout on October 5th - this will be held at Loyola Marymount University due to a cycling event at our gym.
12s TRYOUTS:
October 5th 4pm-7pm (at LMU)
October 12th 9am-12pm
October 19th (make up tryout) 9am-12pm
13s TRYOUTS:
October 5th 4pm-7pm (at LMU)
October 12th 9am-12pm
October 19th (make up tryout) 9am-12pm
14s TRYOUTS:

** A note on the tryout dates for High School Varsity athletes. No player will be allowed to tryout if they are still involved in CIF or State playoffs. This is a new SCVA rule and will be enforced by all clubs in our region. If your high school is still competing in CIF or State playoffs, please come to your age group's first tryout date and time to fill out paperwork, but you will not be able to physically tryout. Once your high school season is over, please come to the next available tryout date.**
COMMITMENT DATES:
The SCVA has again put into effect the "commitment dates" for each age level. A commitment date is defined as the first date a club can accept a non-refundable deposit to hold a player's spot in the club. The idea behind this date is to relieve girls of the pressure and stress that is sometimes put on them to make a decision on a club. The following are the commitment dates for the different age divisions:
12s, 13s, 14, - October 20th
15s, 16s, 17s, 18s, - December 1st
